About Me

Hi, friends! I'm a Filipina actor, director and producer based in Los Angeles, CA and have over a decade of acting experience in theater, film, television and voice over. I've also worked as a Post Producer for scripted television for many seasons where I directed hundreds of ADR sessions. I trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City and The VO Dojo in Los Angeles. As a truthful storyteller, I bring characters to life and paint a vivid picture of the world in which they live with a warm, friendly, confident voice wrapped in strength and vulnerability.  I love narrating YA, mystery, and non-fiction with a dry humor particularly in self-help. Born in Manila, my family and I immigrated to the US when I was only seven years old. I would love to share more stories from Filipino artists, especially highlighting the immigrant experience.

Television credits include New Amsterdam, Criminal Minds and The Blacklist. Voice acting credits include Gossip Girl, Abbott Elementary, Law & Order: Organized  Crime, Queenmaker and many more.

When not on stage, in the booth or on set, I can be found watching sports (basketball, football and baseball specifically - go Lakers & Dodgers!) with my dad, hanging at the beach with a book or taking naps. I'm also a proud nerd and love to watch sci-fi (Stargate SG-1, The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, 12 Monkeys to name a few) and Jeopardy. Occasionally, I've been known to pick up my guitar and sing along to a few chords. While living in NYC, I fell in love with the American dance form of rhythm tap.

I am available to record in studio or in my home studio and can be reached at angelita@angelitaesperanza.com.
